Dear Volunteer Coordinator and Volunteers: It is with great sincerity that I thank you for your interest in the volunteer program at Fire Historical and Cultural Arts Collaborative. As a Volunteer Coordinator or Volunteer for Fire you will serve a very important function in the delivery of services to area youth and our community. The positions at Fire have been developed to further enhance the existing services of this organization for which you will serve. Based on your special skills and talents, you will be placed in a position carefully selected to provide FIRE with the highest quality of service for which this organization has become known, a position that will effectively utilize your skills and talents. The term "volunteer" has taken on many meanings. Specifically to FIRE, a volunteer is a person who has chosen to give his or her time and talent to a worthwhile group or cause without concern for monetary profit. FIRE has come to rely more and more upon volunteers to:
Community support and interest are essential elements in providing quality services for the community. As a volunteer, you will contribute greatly in this effort. As a department volunteer coordinator/supervisor, you will help others make the most of whatever time and talents they choose to contribute.
