_Ever wanted to learn how to think on your feet and enhance your comedy skills? Do you dream of being a SNL star or joining a local improv group? Besides following in the footsteps of improv stars such as Donald Glover, Drew Carey and Kristen Wigg, improv students will learn listening, concentration, group problem solving, stage presence, comedic timing and much more. Improv involves both scripted skits and using games and audience suggestions to create unscripted scenes.

_Get ready to express yourself through various poetic forms. Submissions necessary for admission.

                                  Reader's Theater

_Figure out what matters the most to you about issues in your community. Youth last year tackled sex trafficking, homophobia, racism, and animal cruelty to name a few. What will you tackle? Youth will research topics they generate, write theater pieces about those topics, and perform their pieces in front of audiences. No prior theater experience necessary.

                                  Youth-led  Creative Justice

_Think you can change your community? We think you can. Students involved in YLCJ develop community programs, meetings or service work aimed at changing the culture of violence and injustice in their community. Youth can make a difference. Be someone that does.
