Welcome to our online donation page. Every dollar you invest in Fire Historical and Cultural Arts Collaborative helps to
transform a life. Here at Fire, we seek to nurture the potential of all youth and emerging artists through art and cultural
education and training. Our current programs engage youth and emerging artists in creative experiences that help them to
unlock their potential and create, live and work in a passionate economy. Through scholarships, we offer unique access to
training by an exceptional faculty from diverse backgrounds in  the Edison
 neighborhood that is rich in culture and ethnic
diversity. Our talented youth and emerging artists are living proof of what can be achieved through dedication,creativity and
commitment. There are many ways to support Fire's efforts and become a part of the
Fire family, including:

1) tax deductible
monetary donations (secure online payments go through pay pal but you don't have to have a pay pal
account to donate)
2) tax deductible donations of materials or equipment
3) donation of your time through volunteering to teach classes or help with events


Tax Deductible Monetary Donations:
There are many levels of monetary support to fit your budget that are possible at Fire. Become a:


1) Fire Starter ($5 a month) - Ignite excitement about cultural arts events by subscribing to donating $5 a month to cover the
cost of admission to an arts event. At Fire, we try to keep true to the idea of public art  by keeping admission to cultural
events affordable and therefore accessible to all regardless of income. But we all know that in this difficult economy, it is
still difficult for some to find anything extra to enjoy what the arts have to offer. Your Fire Starter $5 a month
subscription
would also offer the opportunity to give free admission to a youth or emerging artists who cannot afford a ticket to a Fire
sponsored event at Fire. You can cancel your subscription at any time, but if you fulfill a year subscription, you will receive
the same benefits as the Fire Keeper listed below. Just bring your receipts totalling $60.00 to us at the end of the year.

Fire Keeper (Yearly Individual or Family Membership) - As a Fire Keeper you will receive a Fire memberships that
provides critical support to help pursue our mission as well as serve as a reinvestment in the Kalamazoo community.

In addition to discounts on classes and rentals, your support helps sustain our youth programs. These funds bring special
arts and culture events to the Edison neighborhood and Fire's stage, our public schools and other community agencies
and scholarships to people of all ages who couldn't take Fire classes without your tax-deductible contribution.

We hope you will embrace the difference that is Fire Historical and Cultural Arts Collaborative and help us assist the
community by becoming a member!

Pyromaniac - You're what keeps Fire burning. As a new 501(c)3 organization, we are continually seeking funding for
capacity building.
Any donation that works for you and your budget will be used to continue to employ exceptional faculty
and administration that lives Fire's vision.
Any donation of $300 or more receives the following benefits:

• 10% off of class fees for employees of the non profit
• recognition on our Web site
• acknowledgment at our Annual fundraiser
• invitations to special events
• meet-the-artist opportunities
• one $100 off Fire or Loft rental
• the ongoing invitation to help map our future development through participation in surveys, conversations, and
collaborations.

Non-profit or business membership

$400 business membership

Members Receive:

• recognition on our Web site

Tax deductible donations of materials or equipment:
General Acceptance Criteria
1. All donated items must be in new or good reusable condition. We cannot accept items that are damaged beyond repair,
or that have missing parts. Materials should be clean with no peeling paint, serious dents, chips, or rust.

2. We cannot accept hazardous materials. This includes items containing PCB’s, asbestos, mercury, or lead paint; and
flammable compounds.

3.
Items must be delivered to our facility. Please submit a donation inquiry form (below our wish list) prior to drop-off. Until
we secure more funding to purchase a box truck, pick-up service is available only on a limited basis. Please contact us to
discuss your needs.

Our Wish list of Items We Can Accept:

Art Supplies:
Paper, paint, picture frames, paint brushes for all mediums, pencils, charcoal, pastels, etc. Aside from materials, we are
also in need of certain pieces of art equipment: Screen printing equipment, drying racks, chairs and stools, easels, digital
cameras, etc.


Office/Kitchen Supplies:
Everything from reams of environmentally friendly paper, pens, staples, and envelopes to kitchen cleaners,  dish washing
liquid, paper plates and
serving trays. Folding chairs. We can use it all!


Electronics:
Laptop computers, scanners, color printers, overhead projector, video camera, etc.

Often, it is the volunteers that bring a new dimension to non-profit organizations, and we would like you to consider helping
us achieve our goals. We often need skilled and unskilled volunteers to help with classes, events or office related duties.
